FINANCE COMMITTEE
The Finance Committee is the organization’s decision-making body for loan requests. Additionally, the Committee approves action items that impact the organization financially. The REDC Treasurer sits on this Committee and provides guidance and oversight to staff in the preparation of the organization’s financial statements.

PUBLIC POLICY COMMITTEE
Through a joint Public Policy Committee with the Rutland Region Chamber of Commerce, REDC monitors and weighs in on legislation that could impact the business community. The committee also produces an annual public policy statement that identifies issues of particular concern to the area and hosts a series of breakfast events in the spring to draw attention to those topics. Committee members rotate depending on topics.

REAL ESTATE COMMITTEE
The Real Estate Committee manages REDC’s current real estate holdings such as the Qualitad building and vacant land. It also evaluates potential acquisitions to help grow the business community and provides basic guidance to developers.
