REDC Executive Director Tyler Richardson announced the appointment of Kim Rupe as assistant director of REDC.
Rupe was most recently the director of community engagement & alumni relations at the College of St. Joseph.
While there, she ran the college’s signature Provider Program, a service learning program focused on alumni relations and implementing direct student-to-community outreach initiatives. Rupe also worked as recruitment coordinator for Vermont Country Store, where she was responsible for developing and executing internal and external recruitment strategies. Rupe serves on the board of directors and as co-chair of the events committee of the Rutland Young Professionals and serves as a member of the Gift of Life Marathon Committee.
At REDC, she will develop strategic initiatives that focus on business growth, workforce development, and community outreach. Tyler said,
“The energy and expertise that Kim brings to REDC will prove to be invaluable as we continue to pursue our vision of making the Rutland region the most collaborative, innovative, and friendly place in Vermont to live, work, play, and grow a business. She has a passion for supporting the growth of Rutland County, and we’re excited to bring that passion to the work that we do at REDC.”
