HIGHER EDUCATION

College of St. Joseph., located on Clement Road in Rutland, is a private, Catholic, co-ed, fully accredited liberal arts college providing associate, bachelors and masters degrees in liberal arts and professional areas. Community College of Vermont, one of twelve sites is located in Rutland at 24 Evelyn Street. CCV is a two-year institution providing occupational, degree, transfer and continuing education opportunities.  An accredited member of the Vermont State College System, they offer day and evening classes. UVM Division of Continuing Education’s mission is to create a joint venture, partnership and collaboration with public agencies, private industry, school systems and civic organizations to deliver timely & relevant educational products of the highest quality in the most cost-effective manner. 802-747-0060.

Vermont Achievement Center has services that offer an important alternative to children with significant behavioral and emotional difficulties. They work with the child and family to readjust the child to their families, the community and eventually return to school. Vermont Interactive Television, located at Stafford Technical Center, is a two-way audio and visual communication network connecting Rutland to 12 other Vermont sites as well as national and international ISDN connections providing video conferencing services for business and organizations.
