LAND USE PERMIT TASK FORCE

It is the mission of the Land Use Permit Task Force to provide, as a service to members of the Rutland Economic Development Corporation (REDC) and to prospective developers of commercial and industrial facilities, the opportunity to call upon competent, experienced land use and development professionals from a variety of disciplines who can provide information concerning municipal and regional land use and development permit processes, assist in identifying the kinds and forms of information necessary to prepare land use and development permit applications, and provide guidance to enable prospective applicants to identify potential problem areas and professional consultants to represent them in the permit processes.
 
It should be emphasized that the relationship between the Task Force and a prospective developer is educational, not professional. This does not supplant the technical consultation, nor expose REDC or the Task Force to liability.
