Since its inception more than 100 years ago, Rutland Regional Medical Center has taken a neighborly approach to providing high-tech medical care.
Today, Rutland Regional is Vermont’s second-largest healthcare facility, home to many of Vermont’s finest healthcare professionals and most advanced medical services. The hospital’s medical staff includes more than 210 physicians trained in 38 specialty areas. Together with a support staff of Registered Nurses, skilled technicians and administrative professionals, they provide preventive, diagnostic, acute and rehabilitative services to thousands of patients each year.
Rutland Regional offers the Vermont Orthopedic Clinic which serves as the team physicians for the US Ski Team, Birthing Center, Women’s & Children’s Unit, a Specialized Breast Care Program, Kids on the Move a Pediatric Rehabilitation Program, Rutland Region Diabetes and Endocrinology Center, the Community Cancer Center, Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, a Nationally Certified Sleep Disorders Center, Cardiac Services, Health Sciences Library, Community Education Health and Wellness Programs, National Award Winning Laboratory, Intensive Care Services, World-Class diagnostic imaging technology including our new 64-slice CT scanner, 24-hour Emergency Department, and much more.
Recent renovations and additions to the hospital campus have made Rutland Regional one of the most accessible and modern medical facilities in the area, attracting patients from throughout Vermont and as far away as New Hampshire, and eastern New York State.
